I just got off the phone with the US Post office. They said it is likely sitting at customs in Japan. Until it clears customs the label is not scanned and forwarded to the processing facility in Japan and therefore would not show up on the records on the Japan side. They asked that I give it a few days and then call them back. I am very sure you will get the car soon.

米国の郵便局との電話を終えたところです。彼らが言うには、おそらく日本の税関で止まっているとのことです。税関を通るまでラベルはスキャンされず日本国内の処理施設に送られないため、日本側の記録にもまだあがってきていないと思われます。あと数日待って再度電話が欲しいとのことでした。もう少しで、車はお手元にお届けできると思います。
