The white strip around the body on some basses is the binding. The Fender Japan photos show the same strip around the fretboard on the neck, as has my US 70s reissue Jazz.
I understand about not seeing the bass, but what did you mean by "approve beforehand".

”binding”はいくつかのベースの本体の周りにある白い紐です。フェンダージャパンの写真も私のUS 70s の復元と同じように指板のところに同じ紐があります。
