thank you for your recent email. Yes, DHL and German customs held off the package ALTHOUGH you really did everything right. I personally collected the package two days later (it took them that long to inform me about the held-off).
German customs is a real nuisance and a shame for an industrialised and modern country like Germany. But unless the industry and politicians from outside Germany complain about the circumstances to German politicians, not much will change.
