muraさま、レビューありがとうございます。私は、アメリカで仕事をしていますが、I was wondering というのは実際の時制に関係なく、I am wonderingより頻繁に使われています。ネイティブ数人に再度聞きましたが、特にamでもwasでも違いはなく、ただwasのほうがcommonだと言われました。
shipのあとは確かにitが入りますね。私の不注意でした。
