A culture in which people create varied figures such as animals and plants by folding a paper exists all over the world.
This is called Origami and used for a children's play and ornaments for either usual day or festival and celebration, and has taken root as a popular culture in Japan. Among other origami, to create a figure of crane is the most popular. This is made in hopes of healing of illness and long life, because a Chinese idiom says, "the crane are thousands, the turtle are ten thousands" (the crane live for a thousand and the turtle live ten thousands)
Let's experience the moment of that participants fold and combine in each hope, and that costumes in a motif of the sand sculpture will be brought to life.
