この膳(Zen)シリーズには、日本の刃物作りのメッカ岐阜県関市の7世紀以上にわたる刃物鍛冶の伝統的職人の技が受け継がれております。ブレードは本刃付けを施しており、すばらしい切れ味です。ブレード表面には、打ち刃物の荒々しさとダマスカス材が織りなす柔らかさを融合した模様が施されています。同じ模様は２つとありませんので、自分だけの包丁として愛着が湧きます。

YAXELL Knife manufacturer which founded in 1932 enjoys a high reputation especially in western countries, and our products are loved by many customers since we founded.
The Zen series carries the tradition of the craftsmanship which has been come down over more than 7 centuries in the blade manufacturing mecca, Seki city, Gifu prefecture.

The point of the blade is whetted to sharp edge to make it clear cut. The surface of the blade has the design of mixture of wildness which is caused by forging and softness which is brought by Damascus steel. We never have the same design, so you can love and enjoy your own unique design knife.
