・私はその日の帰りたくないという気持ちを今でも覚えている。私にとってこの学校との出会いはすごく衝撃的だった。この日の出来事が私を新しい世界に連れて行くことになった。
・とにかく成績を上げることに関して何かに取りつかれたように努力し続けた。いつしか両親にも先生にも勉強しろとは言われなくなった。今では想像できないくらいストイックな自分だったに違いない。まるで誰かが私の背中を突然突き飛ばして、今までたどっていた悪いレールを外れたようだった。

・I still remember my feelings of not wanting to return home that day. For me, my encounter with that school was extremely shocking. The incident that day brought me to a new world.
・Anyway, I continued working hard to raise my grades in an obsessive way, one way or another. Before I knew it, my parents and my teachers had stopped telling me to study. Now, there's no mistaking I was stoic beyond my imagination. It was honestly like somebody had abruptly thrust at my back and pushed me off the bad rail I had been on up until now.
