伊東氏による架空の物語をベースとしており、この三人の娘たちが遊郭から山の中へと逃避していく様子を追っている。このように逃避することは反抗的かつ無謀な手段ではあったが、三人にとっては 置屋へ閉じ込められた生活から抜け出すための唯一の方法であった。
伊東氏には本展覧会でお目にかかり、インタビューに応じていただく機会を得た。またこのインタビューは、NiMi Festival を運営するスタッフの 通訳の力を借りて実現したものであり、協力してくれた方々には心より感謝し御礼申し上げます。

It's based on a fictional tale by Itou and follows these three girls as they escape from the red light district to the middle of the mountains. Although escaping in this sort of way was rebellious and, moreover, reckless, for these three girls it was the only way to escape from a life locked away in a geisha house.
I met Mr. Itou at this exhibit and had the chance to interview him. Also, this interview would not have been possible without the translation efforts of the staff running the NiMi Festival and for that I thank everyone who helped from the bottom of my heart.
