鶴ヶ城武者走り
敵を迎え撃つため城内の兵がいっせいに石垣上に
駆け上がることができるように、また兵の「登り」と「降り」
を区別するため左右に階段があるともいわれております。

鉄門
鶴ヶ城の正門。
この門の壁面は鉄で覆われていることからこの名が付いた。

本丸
現在の芝生の広場には、
行政としての機能や生活の場所などがあり、
多くの建物があった。

石垣
石野面積(のずらずみ)といわれる工法で積まれています。
この工法は自然の石をあまり加工せず積み上げるやりかたで、
傾斜が緩やかで、裾野が広いのが特徴です
