First take a fingernail-sized bit of hair wax onto your hands.

Spread this onto your hair.

Divide your tied hair down the middle.

Put the tip of you tied hair in that opening and pull it out so that area is twisted.

Face the mirror and lightly pull on your hair at the top, to add volume.


Next, take another bunch of hair and repeat what you did to the first layer. (Tie it, twist it inside out, pull it the divided tips sideways to tighten it, and pull on it a bit to add volume.)
