My name is Lucas Stricker and ever since the age of 3, I have attended prestigious bilingual schools in the very heart of Paris, where I currently live. I first attended the Montessori School at the "Eglise Américaine de Paris", followed by the Lennen Bilingual School, then the Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel. As a result, I have an extensive control of the English language as well as french (since I am a native Parisian speaker). What's more, at the Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel, from age 9 to 18, a great number of classes were taught in both languages, such as was the case with History classes. My two parents are English teachers : my mother teaches at the prestigious Dauphine University, and my father teaches Shakespearian literature in the two schools that are Blomet and Victor Duruy. My father has times and times again tested my abilities through translating texts from english to french and vice versa, as this is one of the skills required from the students he teaches in order to pass an important exam later down the line. Though I have few professional experiences here on Conyac, I believe I am a hard working and dedicated experienced translator submerged in the bilingual world ever since I could walk, and capable of translating your text either with a very "word to word" precision or by making the translation true to the language and its specificities.
