I’m a French translator dealing with both English and German as source languages. I have a deep, thorough knowledge of French language and my English and German skills include reading, understanding, and communicating. I can also provide reviewing and proofreading services. I really (really) (really) love writing and translating. I’ve been interested in languages since I was a teenager: all over my student career, I’ve been studying French (of course!), English, German, Latin, and Ancient Greek. I’ve been writing on a personal blog for almost 3 years and on a French language-oriented blog for several months. My first service is Translation from English to French, and due to my high training level in Mechanical Engineering and experience in IT, I have specialized in those areas, while as well translating general items. When translating, I always made a point first to research the terminology for the subject being translated, and during my translation, I usually compile a glossary which I provide at no cost to my client when requested, so that further translation can be consistent. Any translation is followed by a full read through and spellcheck, whenever possible, of the final document, so that you get a product close from the final product if not final. Additionally to translation, I provide the following services: * Editing - reviewing another translator work to make sure it is perfect and duplicates the English correctly. * Proofreading - ensuring there is no typo, grammar, punctuation or style mistakes in the translated piece and that the design matches the English original document (italics, bold, font size, etc.) * Terminology - researching and building up a glossary of terms for a specific domain/area which will be used for any translation project.
