I specialize in translating fiction books from English and German to French

The most interesting and thrilling part of this job is the way you discover things you didn't happen to know in the first place, such as different points of view on the same reality, faraway customs and meanings of life, places and surroundings. But the best feeling you finally get to have is when you are satisfied after having found out the proper way to say something that couldn't have been easy to say in a different language.

I had a great time when I used to translate a dozen of novels from English to French. Sometimes, when it came to translate an art critic about some paintings and relate to the psycho-analytical aspect of the lecture, I found it very exciting, too. I also managed to work as translator in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations Department, where I had to work very quickly and translate as fast as I could in order to speed up all decision-making plans.
