Translation is something I thoroughly enjoy doing -- I have been studying languages for a few years and am fascinated by the idea of different languages being linked to different cultures.
I have been translating for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy doing so. Having lived both in England and France (and now Ireland), I am aware of the cultures anchored to each language. I have also given English lessons for a year. Furthermore, I have studied academic translation for three years. Therefore, I am very thorough in my translations!

I am fluent in both English and French. French is my mothertongue, but I have lived most of my life in England (Bristol) and therefore am proficient in these two languages equally. I am currently a student in France, doing what we call "Prépa littéraire": an intense preparation that leads to an entry exam/contest for the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure), one of the most prestigious schools in France. In this Prépa, my work is mostly focused on the English language (translation, linguistics and literature) but I also have history, geography, French literature, and philosophy classes. However it all really boils down to one skill: writing. Which is why I believe I can be of help to you. I spend most of my time translating, so I have some experience, and on top of that I am also proficient at writing. Thank you very much!

Merci beaucoup !
