Travelling around Japan was an amazing experience, and by translating tourism texts, I hope to help other tourists embrace the wonderful culture and experiences that Japan has to offer. When translating, my goal is to make the translation as fluent as possible in English while also respecting the Japanese text and keeping in mind the target audience. I aim for a high level of accuracy while making the content easily accessible to its target audience. I actively use the strategies learnt while studying for my degree in translation studies.
