Specializing in Japanese to English Translation/Projects/Videos/Etc

Being born and raised in Japan, while educated in the States (native American English), I would like to put my cultural advantage to use. I have worked in global companies as well as for the Japanese government, so I am versed in business knowledge and format.
I do not directly translate each word from Japanese to English but use natural English to convey the message of the Japanese piece in English.

High quality, attention to details, I love researching and using written words to communicate.

I work 2 and a half years in a German company. Though I was not a "interpreter", as there were few English speakers, I was the interpreter whenever foreign visitors would come as well as the translator/report writer for communication between Germany and Japan.
I worked in an American automobile company where again I would interpret as well as produce official documents for immigration or the consulate. I was at this company for 7 months.
I worked freelance as an interpreter for various projects (relocation agent, tourism survey). I did freelance translation work translating Japanese tv shows into English subtitle. I also worked for a small company, translating and creating content for their inbound tourism website.

As a freelancer, I do not keep strict hours. If the deadline is short, working at night is not an issue.
However, as I am based in Japan, I may not answer correspondence from 20:00 to 8:30 Japan time.
