My name is Lesmi, and I have been working as a content writer and translator (EN-ID, ID-EN) since 2015. Currently, I am thrilled to be part of the team at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, an aromatic wellness destination located in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java. I joined them in May 2023 and have been contributing to their content creation efforts.

Prior to my role at Rumah Atsiri, I served as a research staff and content writer for Artekhno starting in November 2022. Later on, I transitioned to their sister company, Nol Karbon. Additionally, I held a junior lead position for content at an undisclosed company that focused on specific political issues and catered to niche audiences since 2018. During my time there, we produced approximately 1,414 short videos (3-5 minutes) and 412 graphic designs from January to October 2022. I supervised nearly half of these projects, overseeing the creation of Indonesian and English scripts, providing necessary footage to the video editing team, and managing a group of freelance writers who worked on video scripts and translations. Transcribing videos in both Indonesian and English was also part of my responsibilities.

I am based in Sukoharjo, a regency near Surakarta City in the Central Java Province. Growing up in a Javanese household, I gained a deep understanding of Javanese words and jargon used by traditional dancers, as my father is a Javanese traditional dance master. Additionally, I have experience translating for an automated business process management company. As a result, I have taken on short-term translation projects primarily for iSystem Asia, Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA), and some individual clients.

I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and enjoy learning new things. Recently, I have been immersing myself in essential social media management practices and exploring new languages. As a separate project, I have managed social media accounts for individuals and small businesses, curating content and providing design services. Currently, I am actively studying basic Korean and have set a goal to take the Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) Level 1 this year. Furthermore, I am making plans to pursue Business Management at the University of the People next year.

I am available for short-term projects in the areas of translating Indonesian-English vice versa, blog writings, and article writings in both Indonesian and English.
