Les bornes 30 et 87/87a sont la partie contact de puissance
Il arrive que les bornes 87/87a soient dédoublées en 2 bornes distinctes 87 et 87a (vous avez alors un relais à 5 bornes au lieu de 4)
Sur un relais à 5 bornes, les bornes 87 et 87a travaillent en inversion de contact : l'une est ouverte au repos pendant que l'autre est fermée et inversement lorsque le relais est commandé
En général, une seule de ces 2 bornes est câblée suivant le cas souhaité : contact au repos ou contact au travail
Connectez une pile 9 Volts au bornes de la partie commande du relais (bornes 85 et 86)
Si vous entendez un clic alors le relais fonctionne
