Having been raised in the US by Taiwanese parents, I have been bilingual my entire life. I have spent the last 14 years in the Defense Industry translating technical documents, such as datasheets and whitepapers for military and government procurements.
The knowledge in the Defense Sector is too niche, and therefore beyond the capabilities of all the translation agencies we could find in Taiwan.

I have spent the last 14 years in the Defense Industry translating technical documents, such as datasheets and whitepapers for military and government procurements.
It started more as a necessity as the knowledge in the Defense Sector is too niche, and therefore beyond the capabilities of all the translation agencies we could find in Taiwan.
Translation has become a meditative process for me over the years, so even though my career has taken me out of full-time translation, I always look for chances to engage in it.
