Hi there I am a recent college grad fluent in both English and Japanese. I've been schooled in both languages having grown up in both Canada and Japan.
My academic background is in engineering; I have 5 years' experience working in projects that require communication between various academic departments on campus and Japanese companies.
Most recently I worked as a graduate assistant at a combustion research laboratory partaking in a project sponsored by a Japanese heavy industries company. I have ample experience reading academic papers in both English and Japanese.
I am also familiar with the job search process in both United States and Japan. Having prepared resumes and cover letters for job applications, my experience would be valuable for those looking for employment opportunities in either country and seeking translation assistance.
