I specialize in translating all kinds of documents for European institutions and also books, articles, etc. in the social sciences field.

I've been working in the translation/revision field for more than 20 years, I'm skilled and experienced, and I also l enjoy very much the kind of work I do. I'd like to have more literary projects, but in fact most of the time I translate technical/legal /institutional documents.

I usually work as a freelance translator/reviser for clients that work for the European Institutions
I've been workin mainly for G.I.T. – Gabinete de Interpretação e Tradução, Lda for the last 22 years, during which I translated and revised/edited documents in primary subject areas such as environment, transport, drugs policy, ICT, development cooperation, human rights and also community law, company law, economy, internal market and services, customs policy, employment, consumer protection, regional policies, external relations, agriculture and competition policy. I also translated sociology and other social sciences works and the English prose of Fernando Pessoa.
