I had worked in the Singapore branch of a Japanese multinational company in the travel industry for around 7 years.
I was in charge of handling booking requests from mostly Japanese business travelers, usually in the Japanese language.
Aside from business e-mails and phone calls, I also made seasonal visits to clients' offices to listen to their requests or feedback.
Other side jobs include working on translation requests from clients for business documents & news articles, and doing interpretation between Japanese and English at events.
