I believe that being able to recognize and flag idiomatic translation issue is related to be familiar with the culture of the source language. I have been in the U.S. with my family for one year. Therefore, I know a lot about the culture, English language and things that cannot be found in the books. So, I can translate from English to Turkish and vice versa.
I am 42 years old and have worked as a judge in Turkey for 17 years. It means that I am a master all the subtleties of the Turkish. That is, I am very good at language skills, such as grammar and idiomatic language.
