I understand that the date doesn't change. Please try to change your home city.
Please turn the "winding knob" on the right side of your watch to the right to release the lock.
Then, please pull out the knob.
When you turn the knob in state, the second hand starts moving.
Please then set the second hand to "NYC".
After that, push the knob back into the original position, and the setting is done.
Please refer to E-24・25 for instructions in English.
I suppose this will set it back to the correct date setting.

時計の右側にある「巻きノブ」を右へ回し、ロックを解除、その後、ノブを
引いてください。
このノブを回すと、秒針が動き出すので、この針を"NYC"に設定してください。
その後、ノブを元の状態に戻すと設定は完了します。

上記により正確な日付に戻るはずですが、この方法でも
解決しない場合、再度、ご連絡ください。

とても良いと思います。原文の「in state」が訳に漏れているのでは？「静かに、おもむろに」などと訳せるかもしれません。
