弊社の発送前最終確認の際に日本製ではなく台湾製ということがわかりました。
商品説明には日本製と記載してありましたがこちらは○○シリーズの最初期ロットのもので、最初期だけ台湾製ということがわかりました。ですが現行品同様当時も新品で○○円で売られていたもので廉価品ではなくクオリティは確かな物です。当時売値が○○円するものを台湾に製作を委託すること自体異例で、そのくらい○○が信頼していた海外の工場に製作を委託していた経緯がございます。

We have an announcement to make for our customers.
While conducting the final check-up on the product pending the delivery we found out that it was made in Taiwan rather than made in Japan.
Even though the product's description indicates that it is made in Japan, it's turned out that this is the initial lot of the OO series and only the related product is made in Taiwan. However this product was sold at OO JPY as new at the time of the sale, just like the present products it is not a low-priced product, and the quality is promising. Even outsourcing something which valued OO-yen to a Taiwanese manufacturer was irregular at the time, this explains how much OO trusted this factory.
