Hi,
My career track is in the Information technology in which I have more than 18 years of responsible experience.
Training always represented a major part of my job duties, which drive me to concentrate on translating Information Technology and computing terms and materials into Arabic for the purpose of interpretation during teaching others. So, that is how it happens to me to work as a freelance translation side by side to my original career track. I consider translation an important and most enjoyable part of my career, and I have been working as a freelance translator for about 6 years now. I have an excellent quality in Arabic writing rules which helps me ensure delivering a high quality translation. I also worked in the field of translation as a full time (subtitle editor and Proof reader) for three years in M-Net TV in Johannesburg, SA from 1996 till 2000. Currently I work as a freelance English to Arabic translator.
In regard to applications and software packages, I have a wide range of them that I used to work with including:
- UML (Enterprise Architecture / Visual Paradigm)
- Java, C++ , and PHP programming fundamentals
- Trados
- Database design
- MySQL/MS-Access/Sybase/Oracle
- Object oriented programming
- MCSE
- TCP/IP
- Symantec Security Products(NIS, NAV, Endpoint, 360...etc.)
- Network standard protocols (TCP/IP, UDP…...)
- Operating systems (Server 2003/2008)
- MS-Exchange Server
- HTML & CSS
- Adobe Photoshop & Macromedia Flash

- AutoCAD
- Network Fundamentals

One last important thing to tell is that I always care about quality so, I am sure that I will do my best in any project/job I work on.
