Sista Armita (ummu-ayasofia)

I am native Indonesian. I was born and raised in Jakarta. I hold a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Swiss German University – Indonesia. I have good command in reading, writing and speaking English language and have traveled a few times to English speaking countries.

I have had experience working in the multicultural environment. During my working term, my scope of work was handling general document translation from English to Indonesian and vice versa. As a freelance translator, I have had worked on translating Company’s Policies and Procedures from English to Indonesia, and occasionally I work on translation for an article about Islamic Education for personal blog. I am interested in any area of business management, travel, technology, art and culture as well as social media. Translating is not about how we should focus in one area but for me is about developing knowledge through words.

Basically, I have had more than three years working in the multicultural environment, during this term I was practically using English as daily business conversation.

For my working days as a freelance translator would be five days a week around five up to eight hours a day. During the weekend it would be overtime.
