However, he emphasised that most of the success had originated from the gaming sector. “Apart from several gaming companies, it (making it outside of Japan) has never been done. We want to be one of the first ones to accomplish this,” he added.

“We decided to jump out of Japan very early on because we observed that if you become big in Japan first, your company culture tends to become too insular and it becomes very difficult to pursue global markets,” he continued.

In conclusion, Harada also gave a few words of advice to startups heading into Japan. He said, “Japan has the most demanding customers in the world. They expect excellence with what you provide. In fact, don’t make the mistake of interpreting the concept of ‘minimal viable product’ in the wrong way; you still have to provide service at an exceptional level.”

This way of thinking — a distinct spirit of excellence — however, will probably allow startups to compete with an added advantage in other markets.

日本コングレス・コンベンション・ビューローが５月29日、日本政府観光局（JNTO）内会議室で「JCCB産業部会MICE技能研修会」を開催した。

開催に先立ち、部会長を務める日本コンベンションサービスの近浪弘毅氏が「オリンピック・パラリンピックは日本最大のMICE」と語り、協力を呼びかけた。

講演では、東京都オリンピック・パラリンピック準備局大会準備部開催計画課長の折笠眞由美氏が「2020年オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会に向けて」と題して講演した。

Talking about Inviting the Olympic Games

On May 29th, the Japan Congress Convention Bureau organised "JCCB Industry Sector Group's MICE Technical Skill Training Session" in a conference room at JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organisation).

Ahead of the event, the group's chairman Koki Chikanami from the Japan Convention Service said "the Olympic and Paralympic Games are the largest MICE in Japan," and asked for cooperation.

During lectures, Mayumi Orikasa, a manager of the Planning Division at the Preparation Sector for the Committee to Prepare the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, gave a lecture about "For 2020 the Olympic and Paralympic Games."

草川興業（株）MICE＆DMC名古屋は6月3日、大田区産業プラザPiO・小展示ホールで、チームビルディングやエンターテインメントコンテンツとして活用できるプログラム「魔術学園入学試験」の招待講演を実施。
旅行会社やイベント事業者などから約30人が参加、イリュージョンと謎解きゲームが合体した、コンテンツを体験した。

名古屋のホテルでランチと組み合わせたショーとして活用例があるほか、法人旅行のエクスカーションプログラムなどを想定している。

MICE Experiencing Program "Entrance Exam for Majutsu School"

On June 3rd, Kusakawa Kogyo Corp. MICE & DMC Nagoya carried out "Entrance Exam for Majutsu School," a program which can be used to build a team or as contents for entertainment, in a small exhibition hall at Ota Ward's Industry Plaza PiO.
About 30 people from travel agencies and event organisers experienced the content combines illusion and puzzles.

The program is expected to be used for a show during lunch times at hotels in Nagoya, or as an excursion program during corporation trips.

I would like to buy a tamahagane kamisori, sharped as per used to shave again, but I'm not sure wich ones would be better and durable. I have been checking this nagamasa and some teramasa, and I would like to spend no more uf USD 500 (honing included). Every Inoue Tousuke razor I like. There is big difference between older razor and new one like this one. I feel my older one has more carbon content than this newer one. Doesn't matter very much unless collector, but for me just shaving. Very good razor.
