Toru, I understand that you wanted to know the reason why you were not able to proceed with selling an item on eBay. Basically, you can open an account certainly for your items to be sold because we have two types of account here on eBay. We have (1) Personal Account and (2) Business Account.
I would like you to know that you can simply sell items on eBay using you account and these will be the steps to start establishing a seller’s account on eBay.
To get started, click "Sell" at the top of most eBay pages, and then sign in. Follow the online instructions to create a listing for the item you'd like to sell.
Once you've completed the listing, you'll be asked to create a seller account by following these steps:
