We had a one-day special event in which the YTG instructors worked at a reduced rate to teach as many people as possible as many Theatre techniques as possible. AW taught “Acting with Intention”, GR taught Voice, TC taught Corporeal Mime, and AU taught Stage Combat. There was a mix of students in terms of native language. We had about 30% native Japanese speakers and 70% native English speakers.

We ran a two-day intensive voice workshop for students in Tokyo. Over the period of 10 hours (5 hours each day), instructor GR covered many of the topics we normally cover over the course of six weeks. It was a lot for the students to absorb, but running it over a single weekend allowed us to reach more casual students.
