2nd sentence, custom made or customized is both correct in this instance although I believe customized is a better word.
3rd sentence, Median should be used for 媒介, so in this instance, I do not agree with your 'new way'.
I agree with the 4th sentence, but my 5th sentence is much better in this instance too.
6th sentence, I think it should be mentioned as a gift.
7th sentence, you missed out on the good choice though your sentence sounds nicer, I'm staying faithful to the words used.
8th sentence, same as 2nd sentence.

Yes, I agree with you 媒介 is median.
But your 5th sentence is not correct in English. The correct one is : to be used as a gift.
I also agree with you that it is a nice choice of gift to display your uniqueness and taste. As for the 7th sentence, I didn't miss out "good choice" because I have mentioned it in the 6th sentence (nice choice), and I used "and" to combine the two sentences.
Also, if "customized" is a better word, then for a better translation, it is better to use customized rather than custom made.
