日本政府観光局（ＪＮＴＯ）が７月２３日に、インドネシア外務省より事務所設置に係る承認を得た。今後、現地での法人格取得等の諸手続きを経て、早ければ本年１０月に事務所を開設する見込み。同事務所はJNTOの14か所目の海外拠点となる。
