能力であるEating historyとは歴史を隠し認識できないようにする能力です。

原作ではそこにあるはずの村が、霊夢や魔理沙の目から見ると無かったと認識してしまう状態になってしまう。

この能力は実際に村を消したのでは無く、村を無かったと歴史を書き換える能力である。

しかし実際に無くなったわけではなく、慧音よりも強い妖怪が見るとそこに村がはっきりと見えます。
逆に獣人の状態での能力はCreating historyです。

In the base story, a village that's supposed to be there will be perceived as non-existent in the eyes of Yuumu and Marisa.

This isn't an ability to make the village vanish, but changes the history itself for the village to have never existed.

But since the village didn't actually vanish, if a beast stronger than Keine will look, the village can be seen clearly. On the other hand, her ability as her beast version is "Creating history."
