In accordance with Japanese tax regulations, users who live in Japan and use the Conyac platform are subject to withholding tax at the time of payment. 

Therefore we will prepare a downloadable copy of a “payment record” that is made based on remuneration, fees, contract fees, and reward payments from the Conyac platform. 

Please follow this link for more information on the basis of the regulations. 

Those that fall into the below categories will be able to download a PDF copy of their payment record from Conyac in February 2023. 

<< Conditions for downloading a copy of your 2022 payment record >> 

  • The total amount of remuneration received from January to December 2022 (paid amount) totals over 50,000 yen. 
  • Those who selected Japan as their country of residence for their ID verification. 
  • Those who have had tax withheld in 2022. (Those who currently live abroad are also subject to this category.)

** For those that do not fall into the above categories** 

For those whose total remuneration (amount paid) for January-December 2022 did not total at least 50,000 yen, under the advisory of a tax attorney, it has been determined that a payment record is unnecessary. 

However, even in this case, it is still possible to check the withheld amount on Conyac.

1- From the payout page of your account, please click “History”. 
2- Then please select the year (2022) from the “year” tab. 
3- Then click “payment record” and you will be able to download a PDF copy of your payment record. For more details please check the FAQ below. 

For those who have not submitted their individual numbers (to be referred to as My Number from here on,) and those who are currently living at a different address than the one submitted at the time of their ID verification, please click the link below to submit your My Number or update your address by Friday, January 13th, 2022, 11:59 pm JST.
