After working almost 3 years as a project manager in translation companies in Japan and France, I decided to start my own business as a translator.
Translating from Japanese and English into French – my native language –, I am specializing in marketing and editorial translation. I am particularly comfortable with corporate internal and external communication on one hand, and cultural contents and fields such as tourism, history, gastronomy, nutrition and wellness on the other hand. Furthermore, I translated a book now being distributed by a French publishing house, which proves my ability to make flowing and smooth translations.
My significant experience in translation project management makes me more than aware of the quality expected from professional translators. Thus, I can perform review, proofreading and quality check in an efficient and flawless manner on translations of all kinds, and I make a point to check my own work carefully.
My project management background also helped me mastering all features of CAT tools such as Trados Studio (I am currently working with the 2019 release), MemoQ or XTM, and I can now easily learn how to use CAT tools that are new to me, no matter if these are online.
