Preparing a persuasive package for a major career change boils down to effectively communicating how your experiences transfer to this new field using language that makes sense in your new career field.
If a particular experience does not contribute to your ability to perform in your new career, do not dismiss it entirely. Focus on trimming down the space you dedicate to this particular experience but always translate so someone in your new career field will understand the experience.
