As a translator, it is very important to always keep culture diversity in mind. Literal translations are not always the way to go but, understanding the main idea and to be able to let the reader understand the point that is being portrayed in the document is always the most important thing.

As a mayor's personal assistant in my previous work experience, in a place where english and spanish are spoken daily, document translation and speech interpretation become a basic necesity. I have done official document translations as well as simultaneous speech interpretation during press conferences.
