The master craftsmen work on their creations wholeheartedly with a serious and solemn expression at an iron kettle workshop which has been around for a long time. When I stand at the entrance, they look up and greet me with a warm smile. The craftsman making the ironware is the 16th generation heir of Nanbu ironware who has been protecting its culture and production techniques in a constant and traditional manner across many eras.

In that iron kettle factory which has a long history, craftsmen are being just so focused on their work with their serious and strict faces. I stand at the entrance and then they raised their face up showing me their warm faces. Those that are making the ironware are the ones of the sixteenth generation that succeeded to Nambu ironware and they have been preserving their culture and techniques of the iron kettles in their traditional way which hasn’t changed for ages.
