Neo Zeon's Adenauer Paraya starts secret negotiations with Earth's government officials in Space Colony Rondenion to stop the war. To counter Federation's plans of stopping the war, starts a new plan to crash another satellite, Axis, into Earth.

In spite of hard attach of a Special Forces unit of Rondo Bell in which Amuro Ray, a former enemy of Char, and others belong to, they cannot prevent the collision of fifth Lina.
