It has the correct twill pocket linings, the holes for the "shoestring" lacing are hand sewn, and the lacing itself is correct. There are button holes for the pockets, but no sign that it ever had buttons.

しかし、論争に火を注ぐように、それにはコピーが存在するという話が出てきた。私は現代のコピーがどのようなものか知らないのだが、ここにその細部に関する情報がある。オリジナルと同じくポケットの裏地がツイル地であり、「靴ひも」を編みあげるための穴が手縫いされており、編み上げ方も正確である。ポケットにはボタンホールが付いているが、そこにボタンが付いていたような痕跡はない。
