間違えて返金してしまい、すでに返金済みにしてしまったので返金キャンセルしたいです。
間違えてしまった理由としては、同時期に別の顧客から同じ種類の商品に関する返品リクエストを受けており、商品を取り間違えてしまったためです。

顧客からは返品リクエストを送ったがやはり、返品は取りやめたいという旨の連絡をもらっています。

I refunded the money by mistake and since it is already been refunded I would like to cancel the refund.
The reason for the mistake was because I requested a similar product to be returned by another customer during the same period retrieving the wrong product.

We already contacted the customer who we've sent the request for returning the product to cancel returning the product.

You seem to have misunderstood the second sentence, so the last one was affected as well. "I" never requested to return the item, but the customer did.
「返品リクエストを受けて（おり）」means "I had received a return request (from another customer)"
And this customer, once telling "me" that he/she wanted to return, now wanted to cancel his/her request (of returning the item).
So, nobody is wishing to return any item now, and the refund is totally unnecessary to anyone.
