It is a two stage process, once all the preliminaries are out of the way, I put the information into a file for invited suppliers and then pass over to the sales team to follow up with head of sales and marketing.
We like to cater to our suppliers on an individual basis and normally they would give us a price for an item that would allow both parties to earn a profit. We rely on our supplier's being able to offer us a fair re sale value that still allows them to earn a profit for themselves and we mark up the item to include our custom fees and postal charges.
