カナダでも報道されていると思いますが、日本は今大変深刻な事態になっています。
幸い私と家族はは被災地から離れているため元気です。
しかしながら被害を目の前にしながら何も出来ない自分の無力さに心を痛めています。
日本国民一人一人が今できることを考え行動する必要性を感じています。

I think it has been also reported in Canada, we have very serious situation in Japan.
Fortunately, I and my family are all fine and safe being far away from the affected area.
However, I'm very much distressed by my helplessness, only watching this serious damage but having nothing to help them at this moment.
I keenly feel the need to think what each of us, all Japanese people, can do and take action.

I suppose that the earthquake-hit Japan must have been broadcast in Canada, and Japan is now facing a really grave situation.
Fortunately, my family and I are safe and well due to living away from the quake-hit area. I feel, however, how powerless I am. I can do nothing in facing the victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
I think that each one of Japanese needs to find out what to do right now and do it.

As I think it has been reported in Canada as well, Japan has been in a very serioius situation. Fortunately, my family and I are safe as where we live is away from the disaster area.
However, I'm grieved whenever I feel my helplessness on seeing such a serious damage. I feel the necessity that each Japanese citizen think what he or she can do and act as such.
