9月13日、東京ビッグサイトで「JATA旅博2013」が開幕。今回は154か国・地域から730社・団体が出展、過去最大の1353小間での開催となった。
12日には商談会が開催されたほか、夕刻には「Tabihaku Night 2013」が開催された。増上寺をユニークベニューとして利用し、江戸をイメージした和の空間“TABIHAKU YOKOCHO”を境内に創出した。各国駐日大使、国内外の出展者などおよそ800人に、日本のおもてなし文化やMICE開催地としての魅力を披露した。
On the September the 13th, “JATA Tabihaku 2013” was held at Tokyo Bigsight. Totally 730 companies and associations participated in from 154 countries and districts. Additionally, there were 1353 exhibition stands and it is largest-ever.
On 12th the commercial conference was held followed by “Tabihaku Night 2013” in the early evening. The Zojo temple was used for the unique venue and it created a fancy place “TABHIHAKU YOKOCHO” which imitates traditional Japanese old city Edo. It appealed to 800 people including the ambassadors to Japan and the domestic and international exhibitors that Japan has the sprit of hospitality and is attractive as a place for MICE.
