日本は、ドイツ・フランクフルトで開催される世界最大級の消費財見本市「ambiente」の2014年パートナーカントリーに選出された。デンマークとフランスに続き、ヨーロッパ以外の国では初めてとなる。
パートナーカントリーは、「アンビエンテ」全体のなかでも中心的なプログラム。これまでは、デンマークのベネディクト王女、女優でデザイナーのカトリーヌ・ドヌーブ氏、フランスの手工芸・商業・観光担当大臣のシルビア・ピネル氏が出席するなど、話題となった。

Japan has been elected as the partner country for the world’s most important consumer goods trade fair “Ambiente” being held at Frankfurt, German in 2014. Japan is the first county other than elected other than European countries following Denmark and France.
The partner country shares the starring program in the entire activities of Ambiente. So far, Ambiente received the well know visitors including Queen Benedikte from Denmark, the actress and designer Ms. Catherine Deneuve, Minister of Handicraft, Tourism and Trade Ms. Sylia Pinel and etc., and became a popular topic of conversation.
