その後の5月15日、花と鳥と私の休息『レスティボン』が投稿されました。こちらは「抗菌効果できれいな水を保つ」というアイデアの上に、「花と戯れる鳥」という意匠性、さらに、「細い茎も自立させる」という機能性も付加することで、非常に完成度の高いご提案と考え採用しました

さらにその後、1859_design様により「花との関係をもっと身近にするプロダクト」の投稿がございました。

こちらは「手で曲げられることができ」「購入時には花束をまとめるためにも使える」という独自性がありました。

Later on May 15, the flower, bird and my rest 'Restibon' was contributed. 花色鉛筆

「花の形の断面」と「芯と同じ色の軸」を持ったきれいな色鉛筆です。

高級な色鉛筆では、削りやすくするために「軸」の部分に使用する木材の多くを使わないそうです。
この木材部分をMAPKAに替えることで、削りやすい上質な色鉛筆でありながら、製造時に素材のロスを出しません。

削りカスも従来どおりに可燃ごみとして処分できます。

色芯のサンプルが届きました

「鉛筆の芯って、そもそも買えるのだっけ？」
今回の企画でまず気になったポイントの一つが芯の調達でした。

Flower Color Pencil

Pretty color pencil with `the flower form section" and the barrel of "the same color as the pencil lead color."

It seems that they do not use much wood for the barrelart totmake it easy to sharpen with the high-quality colored pencil.
It does not make loss of the material at the time of production still being the good-quality colored pencil that is easy to sharpen by replacing the wood part with MAPKA.

"In the first place, can I buy the lead of pencil?"
One of the points that worried me first was the procurement of the pencil lead.

国内の鉛筆用芯の専業メーカーは、コスト競争力に勝る新興国に押され激減しているそうです。

そこで、色々と調べて周ったところ、山梨県のオリエンタル産業株式会社さんが現在では国内で最後の鉛筆用芯を外販しているメーカーで、特に色芯では高い品質を誇るとのことです。

さっそく連絡を取ってサンプル提供のお願いをしたところ、ご快諾頂き、きれいな色芯のサンプルが届きました。

TRINUSで開発するプロダクトは、出来るだけ品質の高いメイドインジャパンにこだわっていきたいと考えています。

日本の伝統色

The domestic specialized manufacturers of the pencil lead seem to be under pressure from those of the rising nations with superior cost competitiveness, and losing the sales sharply.

And, after checking around the various makers, we have come to know that Oriental Industry Co., Ltd. of Yamanashi is now the last domestic maker and direct seller of the pencil leads, who boasts of the high quality color pencil leads particularly.

We contacted them at once and asked for the sample supply, which they willingly consented to, and the sample of the beautiful color leads arrived.

As for the product we develop in TRINUS, we want to be particular to make the articles made in Japan with the highest possible quality.

Japanese tradition color

マグネシウムは工業に欠かせない金属であると同時に、動植物が生きていくために必要不可欠な栄養素という一面を持っています。このプロジェクトはマグネシウムその一面に着目し、マグネシウムをおしゃれな肥料として活用しようというコンセプトで考案・製作するものです。

現在あるマグネシウム肥料は酸性の土壌を中和されるために作られているもので、マグネシウムを生育に活かすという考え方ではありません。この作品は、飾りとして植物の近くに置き水遣りによってマグネシウムを供給し、生育を助けます。

Magnesium has a side as an essential nutrient for the animals and plants to live as well as is a metal indispensable for the industry. This project focus its attention to that side of magnesium and is to be deviced and produced with the concept to utilize magnesium as a stylish fertilizer.

The current magnesium fertilizer is made to neutralize the acid soil, not to make use of it for growing plants conceptually. This work is to be placed near the plants as a decorative watering apparatus to provide magnesium and help them to grow.

マグネシウムの植物に対する効果

マグネシウムを活用した投稿作品の中には、他にも植物の生成に対する影響を謳ったものがありましたが、本作品が採用されたポイントはその裏付けの存在でした。

ft designさんからマグネシウムが植物に与える影響の実験結果の公開許可を頂きましたので、こちらでご紹介いたします。

実験は、同じ植物（スパティフィラム）を二つ用意し、片方にはマグネシウムを与え、もう片方は与えずに育てるというものです。水遣り（朝夕二回）や周辺環境は両方同じにしています。

Effect of magnesium on plants

Among the contributed work on utilizing magnesium, there were others that expressed the influence on forming of the plant, but the key that made this work adopted was existence of the supporting material.

Because I had the publicizing permission of the laboratory finding of the influence that magnesium gives to plants from ft design, let me introduce it here.

Two prepare the same two plant (Spathiphyllum), and the experiment gives magnesium on one and already brings up one without giving it. I do water (two times of morning and evening), and both neighboring environment makes it the same.

実験開始

下図左のようなマグネシウム板を、下図右の通り茶色の鉢にのみ与えました。実験開始当初は黒い鉢の植物の方が葉の色や大きさは優れていました。

実験4日目
黒い鉢（マグネシウムなし）の葉に光沢が無くなってきました。

黒い鉢の葉が萎れたようになってきました。

更に葉が萎れています。マグネシウムを与えた茶色の鉢の方は実験開始時と変わらず色つやが良いです。

並べて見ると違いが顕著になります。しかし、これでは黒い鉢の個体が特に弱かっただけという可能性もあるためマグネシウムを移し替えてみます。

Experiment start

I gave a magnesium board (like the exhibit below) only to a brown bowl (like the exhibit below) . The color and the size of the leaves were superior in the plants of the black bowl when the experiment started was black at first.

The experiment fourth day

Luster disappeared on the leaves of the black bowl (without magnesium).

The leaves of a black bowl came to wither up.

Furthermore the leaves withered up. The brown bowl with magnesium does not change from the experiment start time, and color and luster are good.

When I place them side by side and look, the difference becomes remarkable. However, I move magnesium as there is a possibilities that the individual in the black bowl was particularly weak.

発明の舞台、岐阜県東濃地方

岐阜県南東部に広がる東濃（とうのう）地方。東濃桧（とうのうひのき）や長良杉（ながらすぎ）といった年輪幅が少ない良質な木材へと育つこの地域は伝統的に木工産業が盛んで、伊勢神宮の遷宮用のご神木もこの地から奉納されるほどです。

Tsukechi-cho, Nakatsugawa-shi, Gifu was the town blessed with woodwork materials such as the representing Kiso-hinoki cypress.From a certain woodworking plant, the special processing technique was born so that the easy-to-curve property of the board-formed pure wood, the demerit, was solved.

The stage of the invention, Gifu Tono district

The Tono district spreads out in Southeast Gifu. In this area growing the high quality wood with little width of annual ring like Tono hinoki and Nagara-sugi ceder, the woodwork industry was so prosperous traditionally that the sacred wood for the removal of the shrine of Ise-jingu Grand Shrine has been dedicated from this district.

すると数日間置いても、通常反り曲がるはずの無垢材の板が変化していないことに気づきます。

無垢材は木本来の温かな肌触りと心に安らぎをもたらす良さを持っています。

また、無垢材の大きな特長として「調湿作用」も挙げられます。よく、木は切って加工されても生きているなどと表現されますが、 木は常に呼吸しており、湿気の多い日は水分を吸収し、 乾燥している日は水分を放出して湿度を一定に保とうとします。

While one can expect the characteristics such as "warmth" "softness" "humidity conditioning effect" by using the pure wood without painting, one has to pay attention to that it is easy to be damaged, and water is easy to soak into it.

Please remember that jt is the expensive material as much as it takes labor.

The combination with other material is possible, but Uraho has to be the main material to the end.

そのような東濃地方の木工業も、安価な外材の流入等を背景に、非常に厳しい環境となっています。また、森は適正に間伐・管理されなければ、こうした良質な材も育たなくなってしまいます。

この地で木工業を営む有限会社内木木工所の内木さんもそのような危機感を持ち、地元の木材を活用した木工製品を試行錯誤していました。

試行錯誤から偶然の発明へ

そのようななか、ユニークなデザインの木工製品を制作しようと、無垢材をウェーブ上にカットした素材を張り合わせ、作業所に立てかけておきました。

Judgment of adoption
On what kind of standard do you judge the adoption?
TRINUS considers that the contribution of the designer in principle consists of the following three points.

1. Design concept
2. Basic form
3. Brushing up of the form

Regading each contributed work, we would judge whether there is the point to support the adoption in these three viewpoints.

What is 1. design concept?
The design concept is the basic plan of the product like, e.g. "for what kind of use to utilize the technique," "why should we do so," and so on.
