ある11歳の女の子は文字を読むことができませんでしたが、知能検査で問題はなく、ADHD（注意欠如・多動性障害）であることが判りました。セラピーや投薬の結果、3ヶ月後には全く読めなかった本を一冊読めました。短期間でこれだけの進歩があったことに本当に驚きました。

傍にいる存在として

日本では診療看護師の数は少なく、米国でもまだ制度が十分に浸透していない。しかし、長い時間を過ごす診療看護師に対して多くの患者さんは好意的です。また、看護学を学び、病気への様々なアプローチがが強みです。

However, a lot of patients are supportive of the medical treatment nurses who spend for a long time with the patients. Also, they have advantage of studying nursing science and approaching to the illness variously.
