入部当初は先輩から散々馬鹿にされ乗り方を変えろと言われるが、この乗り方を貫き通し見事先輩を見返す。
現在はエースクライマーとして総北高校を引っ張っている。

箱根学園の東堂尽八とは良き友人であり、ライバルでもあることから同人誌でも彼との絡みが多い。

一見して周りに冷たい態度をとっているようですが、その内側は非常に仲間思いで熱意のある先輩です。
