鶴ヶ城武者走り
敵を迎え撃つため城内の兵がいっせいに石垣上に
駆け上がることができるように、また兵の「登り」と「降り」
を区別するため左右に階段があるともいわれております。

鉄門
鶴ヶ城の正門。
この門の壁面は鉄で覆われていることからこの名が付いた。

本丸
現在の芝生の広場には、
行政としての機能や生活の場所などがあり、
多くの建物があった。

石垣
石野面積(のずらずみ)といわれる工法で積まれています。
この工法は自然の石をあまり加工せず積み上げるやりかたで、
傾斜が緩やかで、裾野が広いのが特徴です

Tsuruga Warrior Passage

This was built using a method of piling up stones known as nozurazumi.
Stone left almost completely in their natural state are piled together.
The walls are known for their wide base and gently sloping sides.
