中学生は学校には携帯電話やお金を持ってきてはいけないし、学校の出入りも自由ではない。だから先輩たちが学校の近くのコンビニでお昼ごはんを買ってきて、携帯電話でメールをしている姿を見たら、高校ってこんなに自由で素晴らしいところなんだと夢が膨らんだ。しかし、学校によっては携帯電話のルールなどが厳しい学校もあると先輩から聞いた。先輩たちは南高校は自由でのびのびした空気がほかの学校とは違うと説明してくれた。
Junior high school students are not allowed to bring mobile phones or money to school, entry to and exit from school are also restricted. Therefore when I saw senior students buying lunch at the convenience store nearby school or sending emails on their mobile phones, I imagined and dreamed high school to be such a free and wonderful place. However, I heard from senior students that some school have strict rules around mobile phones. They explained to me that Minami high school has free and unconstrained atmosphere unlike other schools.
